Dota 2
MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) is a computer game that combines strategy and computer role-playing games while players fight on a special map. – Ed.) In the match involves two teams of five players. To win, you need to destroy the enemy’s fortress and protect your own. The game was developed by Valve Corporation as a sequel to DotA (Defense of the Ancients). It works on Linux, macOS and Windows platforms.
Here, participants choose their own character. Each one has a special appearance, a set of skills and fulfills its role. During the game you can earn points, gold, buy and collect items that will strengthen the characteristics of the hero.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
An online game from PUBG Corporation in the royal combat genre (when you need to kill the other players, but to survive yourself. – Ed.). In its plot, up to 100 people land on an island. They search for weapons and kill other characters. Over time, the map gets smaller and players increasingly clash with each other.
Participants can choose how they enter the game: alone, in pairs, in trios, or in teams of four. In the beginning, they jump out of an airplane onto an island. Since the flight trajectory is impossible to guess, players jump whenever they want. After a few minutes the area of the island shrinks – this speeds up the game.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds released in March 2017. By the end of the year, it had peaked over two million players, making it one of the most popular games in the world. It now ranks third in the rankings.
Apex Legends.
A mix of multiplayer shooter (when many users play inside a virtual world – Ed.) in first person and battle royal. The game was developed by Respawn Entertainment. It is suitable for Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch platforms.
Up to 20 teams of three people participate in the game. Before the match begins, each participant can choose one of 16 characters. All players then board a landing ship that flies over the map. At a certain point, they disembark and begin searching for gear.
Apex Legends has non-verbal communication: players can send signals to their squad, showing hiding places, enemies and weapons.
Team Fortress 2
Multiplayer first-person shooter from Valve. The game has a story: there are two organizations – RED and BLU – secretly opposing each other. They are led by brothers Redmond and Blutarch Manns. They hate each other and want to take their father’s land.
Team Fortress 2 mercenaries help one of the teams reclaim lands with gravel, which is needed to create weapons. Teams try to control territory, capture important points, destroy enemy bases, and engage in industrial espionage. There are two teams in the game, the Reds and the Blues. Destiny 2
First-person shooter with MMORPG elements (massively multiplayer online role-playing game – a mixture of role-playing and massively multiplayer games. – Editor’s note). It was developed and released by Bungie in 2017. Destiny 2 is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Windows platforms.
The goal of the game is to develop your character. To do this, you need to earn experience points and improve his equipment by completing tasks. There are three classes of heroes: warlocks, hunters and titans. Each has its own abilities. You can play against the environment or against another player.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
A first-person tactical shooter game (where tactics and caution of the participant are more important than reaction speed – Editor’s note). Ubisoft developed it for Windows, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
The action takes place in a confined space. For example, in a building or plane with its defenders. The outside is attacked by stormtroopers. The mechanics of the game are destruction. The degree of damage depends on the caliber of the weapon or explosive power. Defenders can reinforce the walls, thus making it harder for enemies.

Soccer team management simulator from Sports Interactive. Can be played on platforms Microsoft Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. The essence of the game is to manage the team as a coach, to develop the soccer club.
